A modern take on the classic denim jacket silhouette, we integrated the hand pockets into the front panel seam for a more streamlined look and got rid of the inside facing front chest pockets in favor of larger, easier to access outer flap pockets. Two interior pockets.

The 22oz. selvedge denim from the famous Nihon Menpu mill in Japan is the heaviest denim we've ever released, making these the most heavy duty jacket in our lineup. This fabric is woven with a lower tension weave which helps shorten the break in time. We chose an intricately textured 12oz. sashiko fabric for the front pocket lining. Raw copper Japanese-made hammered buttons will quickly pick up patina. Gold extra heavy USA thread and bartack reinforcements at all potential stress points round out the design.

We largely kept the fit the same as you'd expect: plenty of room to move but not boxy or oversized, though you can size up if you're looking for that vintage look. The cropped body length hits just below the belt. Shop owner Daniel (pictured) is 5'11" 190lbs wearing a size large.

Every garment is designed, cut, and sewn by our hands at the Skinner American Goods workshop using vintage industrial sewing machines we've rescued from shuttered factories.
